We use inclusive language like "pregnant person" and "birthing person" and focus on accessibility for all bodies, all genders, and all family configurations, including those giving the gift of parenthood to someone else. One of Sound Birthing’s core values is that all people should see themselves represented in the birthing world.

  • Occasionally, I offer limited virtual individual sessions. These are 45 minutes long and cost $125. If you're interested in personal guidance, contact me to see if we are a good fit.

  • No, it just grows it! I always recommend that you work with a doula if possible and take the standard childbirth preparation class offered by your doctor’s office, hospital, or community. We will cover some overlapping information, but Sound Birthing is not intended to replace traditional childbirth education or healthcare.

  • You should be comfortable. Avoid any zippers, belts, or clothing that might make it difficult to relax. Bring water. If you're prone to getting cold, bring extra layers or blankets. Finally, bring anything that will help you find a supportive position. This may include a Yoga mat, pillows, an eye mask, or a support person to bolster you.

    Most in-person workshops include at least one soundbath. Typically chocolate is offered after a soundbath to help with grounding. If chocolate is not appropriate, or if you have any severe allergies for you please let me know so I can arrange alternatives.
